Zakat on gold jewellery
Zakat on gold is due when the pure gold you hold reaches the nisab and a lunar year has passed. Because jewellery is rarely 24k, the weight must first be converted into pure gold. This calculator does that and estimates the 2.5% due. Rulings on worn jewellery differ, so confirm with your scholar.

Questions, answered plainly.
Is zakat due on jewellery I wear?
Scholars differ: some exempt worn jewellery in normal amounts, others count all gold. Ask your scholar which view you follow.
Mixed karats, what do I enter?
Run the calculator once per karat and add the pure-gold results together.
Can I pay in money instead of gold?
Most scholars allow paying the money value of the due grams at today's price.
